Highly ambitious project that lacks a little bit of precision.
The first sequence got me invested in the story. I liked exploring the room and the game showcased very unique set of mechanics, which I was not aware of until I tried to look up the controls. The sound design is fantastic and everything in the game looks spectacular. Although, the project would definitely benefit from an update.
I mentioned in the video, that the demo needs more explanation to do. Maybe giving the player a chance to explore less and ask them to do a direct "task" would improve the experience, from the start. Players can get used to it and then explore more freely. That's the only, serious nitpick I have for this.
Can't wait for the full game. Best of luck with the development.
Hello, thank you for your feedback. I do agree a more clear tutorial would be helpful. Specifically to explain some of the mechanics. I'm thinking about doing a simple implementation with a popup window that summarizes the mechanic as you encounter it.
Also, I noticed you had mouse issues with the zoom mechanic at the cutscene. What screen mode were you in when playing, was it windowed or Fullscreen? And what resolution is your monitor? I think that might be the cause of the bug. I'll try and run some tests regarding this.
Thanks for making an impressive demo, hope it works out with a full release. My mouse didn't have any issues whatsoever. It might have been the recording software or because I zoomed in with the screen a little, because that's how I do in my videos. Nevertheless, there are no real bugs that held me back from playing, rather what I've mentioned about the actual gameplay. Once again, best of luck! ✌
